Slatestone Falls

Source:
I found about this fall though the book Bicycling the Pioneer vally and Beyond by Marion Gorham.
It's very close to where my mother lives, so I often show it to my friends when they went to visit me at my mother's.
Direction:
Rt 116 to Sunderland center. Turn right at lights to main street. There is a giant sycamore
tree on main street. It's the biggest tree around that area. Turn left on Falls road. The fall is between two
houses on your right across to the Connecticut River. Another waterfall, Gunn Brook Fall is nearby in a hidden street at a privite land.
Access:
Very easy to access, roadside fall, no hiking required.
Comments:
Small but beautiful, worth to see it if you are in the area. Best time to see is after a summer shower.
